TouchFish Privacy Policy
The developer does not collect your pay, personal records, photos or recordings. No account, developer-operated application server, advertising, analytics or tracking. Holiday data is processed on this device; the system may sync attachments to your own iCloud.
Where your data lives
- Your work settings and records (pay, hours, slacking, overtime, Pie in the Sky, wishes, day adjustments) are stored in a local database on this device. They are used only inside TouchFish and are never sent to the developer or any third party.
- Photos, recordings and the overtime CSV are stored in the "TouchFish" folder of your own iCloud Drive, synced and kept by Apple's iCloud. When iCloud Drive is off they stay on this device, visible in Files › On My iPhone › TouchFish. The developer cannot see these files.
- The records themselves are not synced to your other devices through iCloud. To move to a new phone, restore it from an iCloud or computer backup (see Support).
Permissions are used only when you act
- Microphone: only while you are recording; recordings go to your iCloud Drive or this device.
- Camera: only when you take a time-stamped photo.
- Photos: TouchFish reads only the photos you pick as attachments, and only adds images when you save a poster.
- Location: only while the overtime camera is open, with your permission. Capture time, coordinates and accuracy are stored in photo metadata and local records, included when exporting original photos and attachment metadata, and may sync to your own iCloud. There is no background location tracking. Denied or unavailable locations are not fabricated. The watermark place label remains manually entered.
- Screen Time: only after you authorize access, Apple's report extension displays usage during the selected day's working hours. Usage data is not written to the ledger, sent to the developer, or automatically counted as break time.
- Calendar (optional): only when you tap Allow calendar access in Settings › Holidays. iOS requires full calendar access to read events; TouchFish reads events only from calendars you select, recognizes holidays and make-up workdays locally, and never creates, edits or deletes calendar events. Only calendar selections are saved locally; imported event titles and dates are not persisted or uploaded. Without permission, or if a selected calendar is unavailable, bundled holidays remain available.
Third parties
TouchFish includes no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting or sign-in tools and makes no holiday network requests. Bundled holiday data is updated through app releases. Calendar subscriptions and iCloud Drive are managed by Apple and the accounts or providers you configure, under their respective policies; reading existing local calendar events does not require TouchFish to contact those providers.
Deleting your data
Deleting TouchFish deletes all records on this device. Photos, recordings and the CSV in your iCloud Drive can be deleted in the Files app.
