Where are my photos and recordings?

In Files › iCloud Drive › TouchFish: overtime attachments are in "Overtime records", sorted by day; Pie in the Sky attachments are in their own folder; recordings you haven't filed yet are in "Recordings"; wish pictures are in "Wishes"; and there is an "Overtime records.csv". If iCloud Drive is off, look in Files › On My iPhone › TouchFish.

Can I take my records to a new phone?

Photos, recordings and the overtime CSV are in your iCloud Drive, so they show up on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Your work settings and records live in a local database on your old phone and are not synced automatically. Restore your new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one.

Is recording legal?

Rules on recording differ from place to place. TouchFish only keeps your recordings safe; it does not decide whether recording is legal where you are. Please check and follow your local laws.

Is the money in my wishes real?

No. Wishes are bookkeeping only. The money stays in your pocket, and TouchFish never touches real funds.

A holiday or workday is wrong. What do I do?

Open Calendar, tap the day and choose "Take the day off" or "Work this day". You can change the holiday region in Settings.

Holidays work offline using bundled data, updated with app releases. Settings › Holidays optionally lets you authorize Calendar and select a calendar for each region. Authorization alone does not guarantee holiday data: add or enable a holiday calendar in Apple's Calendar first. Only recognized all-day holidays and make-up workdays supplement the bundled schedule; observances and appointments are ignored. Partial imports may omit days off or make-up workdays. Denied or revoked access, missing calendars and unrecognized events fall back to bundled data. If a year is not bundled, ordinary schedule rules apply to unrecognized dates. Personal day adjustments always take priority.

Original overtime photos include capture time and any permitted location. OvertimeAttachments.json contains per-attachment timestamps, coordinates, accuracy and unavailable-location status. Sharing originals also shares this metadata. Locations are not invented for older photos.

How are "earned" and "lost" worked out?

TouchFish turns your pay into a standard hourly rate. Slacking time × rate is what you earned for free; overtime × rate is what you lost. It's just for laughs: your pay arrives as usual, and TouchFish gives no legal or payroll advice.
